Good value, room was absolutely perfect, staff were really helpful. The location was incredible and lovely, near to the beautiful ocean as well as beautiful quieter beach and 5 minute walk to the popular Hirikiteya beach.
The bathroom was tired, I didn't like it.

The setting of this place was fantastic, located just a stone's throw away from the popular Hirikiteya beach. They also served Sri Lankan dishes for breakfast, which was a delightful way to start the day! 🌴.

Featuring a private beach area, Singhe House had me feeling like a celebrity, soaking up the sun and lounging in luxury. With the sea view from my room, it was like having a personal IMAX theater, only with real waves! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, I felt like a VIP being waited on hand and spray. And let's not forget the delicious continental and Asian breakfast options, they were a culinary adventure that even Indiana Jones would envy. All in all, my stay at Singhe House was a beachside paradise fit for a star!

My stay at Singhe House was absolutely incredible! I was pleasantly surprised by the location, just a short walk from a stunning beach with calm waters. Vicki, the owner, was beyond amazing – always ready to assist with anything myself or any other guests needed. The food at the restaurant was mind-blowingly good, I didn't feel the need to go elsewhere for meals unless I wanted to explore. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable, even going above and beyond to give us rides and refusing payment. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with AC and fans that worked perfectly. The property itself was beautiful, with hammocks under coconut trees providing the perfect relaxation spot. And breakfasts here were a must-try, even when the power occasionally went out. The overall vibe of Singhe House was just incredible – a mix of authentic culture and amazing nearby attractions. I can't forget to mention the nearby restaurant, Smoke and Bitters – the drinks there were the best I've ever had, and the food and ambiance were jaw-dropping. If you're looking for the perfect place to stay, look no further than Singhe House!

The rooms at Singhe House are amazing! I stayed in a double room with a private entrance and it felt so cozy and welcoming. The tile/marble floors gave it a nice touch, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the hot weather. Plus, the sea view from my room was absolutely breathtaking!
Personally, I found it a bit disappointing that not all rooms had a seating area. But hey, that's just my opinion.
